Pony Trekking
Here at Atholl we pride ourselves on having some of the best views in Scotland and what better way to view them than form the back of a safe, steady Highland pony. Queen Victoria even wrote in her diary of a memorable day she had trekking on Atholl during a visit. Since the 1950s we have been welcoming guests of all ages (above 12) and abilities from all over the world to Blair Castle Trekking Centre to ride the ponies on the estate during the summer months. The Trekking Centre is open Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays) from 21 March to 28 June 2008, and Sunday to Friday (closed Saturdays) from 29 June to mid September 2008.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
Dunkeld Park offers one of the finest and certainly most scenic clay target shooting facilities in the country. The shoot uses state of the art automatic equipment and a facility purpose-built in 1990, and can simulate many sporting targets from the bolting rabbit at ground level to the highest of driven pheasants from our high towers.
