Atholl Estates' Highland Lodges: Bruar Lodge
Set in its own wild glen, nine miles along a private track* from Calvine, Bruar Lodge is the ultimate escape from everyday life.
Full of original 18th Century character, the centrally-heated lodge is a classic example of how a Highland sporting lodge should be. Enjoy a whisky by the roaring open fire in the drawing room, eat dinner in style in the double aspect dining room, or watch television (Sky Freeview) or a DVD in the separate sitting room with open fire.
The fully equipped kitchen has a gas-fired cooker with 6 rings, oven and grill, two fridges, chest freezer and dishwasher while the utility room also has a drying room and gun room. The lodge is powered by an electric generator.
Glen Bruar Lodge is surrounded by a backdrop of heather and organic moorland with deer, grouse and golden eagles, offering plenty of walking, wildlife watching and star-gazing opportunities. Fishing enthusiasts can fish for brown trout in the loch and the River Bruar. Up to eighteen guests with a love of the outdoors will be in their element at Glen Bruar! Why not check out the many trails Atholl Estates has to offer.
