Woodland Lodges in Scotland

We invite you to take a break in comfort in a modern and spacious woodland lodge only a short walk from all the conveniences of Blair Castle and Blair Atholl village, yet on the door step to many miles of way marked trails and open wildnerness. The lodges are also conveniently close to the amenities of our 5-star graded Caravan Park while remaining secluded in their own tranquil wooded area.
Our two- and three-bedroom holiday lodges offer a wonderful opportunity for couples or families to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery of their Highland surroundings. Inside, the lodges provide comfortable, informal, yet quite contemporary accommodation with fully fitted and modern self-catering kitchens adjacent to open plan areas for dining and relaxation.
The sitting rooms of our holiday lodges open out through double doors on to spacious verandas with patio furniture, providing private, open air space with direct views into the surrounding woodland and further views to Tulloch Hill.
Blair Castle Woodland lodges can be booked online. Please click here for tariffs and details.
There's Also Plenty To Do
Perthshire is a largely rural area of Scotland, with a rich abundance of the flora and fauna that is characteristic of the Highland region. Wildlife lovers will appreciate seeing red squirrels and roe deer at close quarters, as these often-elusive creatures live on the doorstep of our woodland lodges.
Walkers and cyclists need only go a few steps to find themselves on our 40-mile network of way-marked trails. There is a route to suit every need, from the gentle mile-long Red Squirrel Trail to the more demanding 10-mile Glen Tilt Trail.
A hundred and sixty-three miles of paths and tracks offer plenty of opportunity to explore, whilst Atholl Estates’ seven Munros (hills above 3000 feet in elevation) provide a challenge for even the hardiest of hillwalkers.
Regardless of taste or weather, our guests are never short of things to do during their holiday. Entry to Blair Castle, Restaurant, Shop and Gardens are free to our woodland lodge guests and opportunities to go exploring by pony or to hire a bike are conveniently close by.
The more energetic may decide to try some adventure sports with one of the highly professional organisations who operate on the estate. Those who enjoy retail therapy can indulge themselves at The House of Bruar, and for those with an interest in the arts, Pitlochry Theatre is only a short drive from your door.
Subject to season, keen fishermen can arrange a day on one of our three salmon rivers, or venture further into the estate to one of the three hill lochs in search of wild brown trout.
